Justin Plapp has been appointed as the new Sandringham Dragons head coach in the TAC Cup competition.
Justin comes to the role with a wealth of coaching experience in the AFL Tasmania Talent Player Programs and the Peter Jackson VFL. Justin was the senior assistant to Peter German at the Williamstown FC this year and held the same role at Box Hill Hawks under Brendan Bolton in 2010.
With stints as a Talent Coach and the Southern Regional Development Officer at AFL Tasmania, Justin comes to the TAC Cup program with plenty of knowledge and experience in the area of player development.
Justin played AFL for the St Kilda and Richmond Football Clubs as well as Port Adelaide Magpies in the SANFL and Burnie Dockers in the TFL. Justin also played for Tasmania Devils in the VFL in 2004-2006 and the Tassie Mariners in the TAC Cup in 1995.
Plapp takes over from premiership coach Dale Tapping, who has been appointed to a midfiled development role at the Collingwood FC.
