Vic Metro has claimed a come from behind victory to defeat Vic Country in the second Round of the NAB AFL U16 Championships.
Trailing by 43 points at half time, Vic Metro kicked eight unanswered goals in the second half to hit the front late in the final term. Whilst Vic COuntry regained the lead that they had held for the majority of the game, Jake Gilbert kicked the sealer for Metro on the siren to claim the come from behind win.
Round 3 of the Championships continue on Friday with Vic Metro facing WA at 10am, and Vic Country playing SA at 12:10pm.
