FOR ladder leader Tarrawingee and second-placed Milawa, Sunday’s A grade match up will realistically be the first major challenge for both teams.
The Bulldogs and Demons have won four from four, with the former’s average winning margin for the 2016 season a staggering 41.5 goals and the latter’s 25 goals.
The A grade sides have both accounted for Glenrowan and North Wangaratta, while Tarrawingee has beaten Bright and Bonnie Doon and Milawa has overcome Whorouly and Greta.
“Milawa, over all the years I’ve played Ovens and King, have been one of the top teams and put a good contest up in every grade,” Tarrawingee co-coach Amanda Bell said.
“I think it will go one of two ways.
“It’ll either be a really high-scoring shootout and both teams will score a lot or we might really fight it out that it will be a low-scoring affair.
“I don’t think there will be a big margin in it either way, it could definitely be one way or the other.”
