GOORAMBAT’S end of season trip will be taking place a little later than usual this year, with the Bats now all but certainties to take part in finals for their first time in the Ovens and King.
The Bats posted their most impressive win of the season to date at home on Saturday, crushing Milawa by 35 points.
In fact you’d be hard pressed to find a better result in any of Goorambat’s 118 previous games since joining the league prior to the 2010 season.
The Bats were ruthless in their defensive pressure, suffocating the Demons and restricting them to their lowest score of the year – 4.6 (30).
It says a lot about how far the club has come in 2016.
Goorambat’s history against Milawa hasn’t just been one of losses – it has been shrouded by humiliating defeats.
