THINGS are looking up for the North Wangaratta Football Netball Club after two lots of good news last week.
It was confirmed on Thursday night that the club could again have access to their clubrooms and the following day the Hawks learned they had locked in venues for home games next season.
“Getting use of the rooms, social rooms and netball courts is great news,” Mr Hogan said.
“Not being able to be out at the club has really been tough this year.
“While we can’t get out on the oval yet, just being allowed back out there will be great for the club and our members.”
The club secured “in principal” agreements with Wangaratta’s two Ovens and Murray FNL clubs, the Tarrawingee Football Netball Club and the Ovens and King Football Netball League to allow the Hawks to play their home matches for the 2017 season shared between the Norm Minns Oval, WJ Findlay Oval and Tarrawingee Recreation Reserve.
