MILAWA has been crowned the Ovens and King premier after completing an unbeaten season with a dominant 61-point victory over Bright in Saturday's grand final at the W.J. Findlay Oval.
Led by a best on ground performance from Baker Medallist Jamie Allan and a five-star effort from Daniel Bihun, the Demons were simply too good all over the ground on their way to a 14.20 (104) to 6.7 (43).
The Demons kicked the first nine goals of the match and led by 51 points at half-time to have the game all but sewn up with two terms to go.
Not even a goalless third quarter (they kicked 11 behinds) could stop their momentum as they romped to their third flag in the past 10 years but first since 2013.
