Vic Country Suffers First Defeat

The second Round Three match of the 2012 NAB AFL Under-18 Championships was played at Patersons Stadium in Perth today.

Vic Country trailed for the first half, but were able to grab the lead in the third term jumping out to a 10 point lead before WA cut the margin to just three points at three quarter time. Lachie Whitfield extended the Vics lead early in the final term – kicking his third goal of the game – but it was to be the final goal of the game for Vic Country as WA powered home with the final four goals of the game to run our victorious by 18 points.

Garner and Whitfield both kicked 3 goals for Vic Country. Whitfield led the stats with 27 disposals, Wines 24, Crouch 23, Hartung 22, Garner 20 and Graham 18.
