The Murray Bushrangers take on the Western Jets this Sunday 2 August at Deakin Reserve in Shepparton. Sitting in 3rd place on the ladder the Bushrangers will be looking to further entrench themselves in the TOP 4 to ensure a double chance in the finals series.
Talent Manager Lee Fraser was trilled to bring TAC CUP football to Shepparton for the first time this season . “We had a clash with cricket finals earlier in the season which meant that we have had to wait until Round 15 to play a game in Shepparton. “As a club we receive enormous support here in Shepparton from the local media, local clubs and in particular the coaches who continue to promote talented young footballers into our programs”.
“A Sunday game will hopefully enable a number of locals to come out and enjoy TAC CUP football. The Bushrangers under the guidance of TAC CUP Coach Darren Ogier are playing an exciting brand of football with a number of talented players across the ground”.
200cm Seymour Key Forward Josh Schache is coming off a 5 goal match winning performance last week and shapes as a key to this weekends match. Benalla duo Harry Morrison and David Mennen will provide class across wings and at half back whilst Jake Marshall (Deniliquin), Louis Pinnuck (Strathmerton), Bowen Smith (Nathalia) & James Cousins (Mansfield) will look to provide drive through the middle of the ground

Bushrangers Coach Darren Ogieris looking forwards to
seeing the athletic teenager at TAC CUP level. “Whilst
Billy is still learning the finer details of the game he will
provide great run and excitement through the wing
and across the half forward”
