Mooroopna’s Clayton Oliver has taken out the prestigious
Morrish Medal as the Best & Fairest player in the TAC CUP
competition. Oliver completed an outstanding season with
three votes in the final game against Bendigo where he
kicked 6 goals and had 27 disposals.
The strong bodied midfielder provided great drive
through the stoppages all season where is ability to win the ball and use it to advantage was outstanding. Talent Manager Lee Fraser said is was great reward for both Clayton and the Murray Bushrangers Football Club “Clayton has worked extremely hard during the season to improve his fitness, his finish to the season was elite in every aspect. This award is also a credit the professionalism of our coaches and medical team who have supported and guided Clayton since he came to the club in November”.
In further great news for the Murray Bushrangers three players were named in the TAC CUP team of the year. Albury’s Nick Coughlan (Back Pocket), Seymours Josh Schache (Full Forward) and Clayton Oliver (Interchange) capped off outstanding seasons .
