After a great comeback victory last week, the Jets will now look to Sunday when they take on the Eastern Ranges. Last time these two teams met was the first ever wild-card round in 2018. The Ranges challenged the Jets well early in the game but were ultimately blown away in the second half. Now the Jets will go into this weekend with a little momentum as the Ranges still look for their first win of 2019.

Possible key matchups
Archi Manton vs Jack Hourihan
Manton was off to an absolute flyer last weekend, he kicked two majors in the first quarter and topped it off with another in the final term. Hourihan may have a tough time trying to match Manton for strength as his hands seem to grip the ball like a vice.
Bailey Ryan vs Cody Hirst
Ryan was a heavy contributor in the midfield against the Knights but Hirst was very busy last weekend for the Ranges despite the loss. Ryan has the height advantage in this fight but Hirst loves to dig into the contest and may give Ryan a run for his money in the center of the ground.
Josh Kellett vs Lachlan Gawell
Kellett has proven to be a strong defensive unit that can cover the ground exceptionally well. His balance of offence and defence work was second to none against the Knights. He was announced the best on ground for the Jets after that performance, but this week he may take on Gawell. Gawell kicked two goals against and a very powerful Oakleigh Chargers unit and looks to be the spearhead for the Ranges. This could prove an intriguing matchup as the best the forward takes on the best defender of each team.
