It's Round 11 of NAB League Boy's competition and the Jets have returned fresh from the bye. This Saturday they face the GWV Rebels in Ballarat as they look for their seventh win of the season. The Jets will welcome back Daly Andrews and Josh Honey but have lost Emerson Jekka, Darcy Cassar, Cassius White, Samuel Clifford, Aaron Clarke and Lachlan Rzanovski. With so many stars absent, this will be a test for the Jets regardless that their opponent sits 15th on the ladder. Harley Blake, Harrison Schumann, and Lars Vidovic will make their debuts Jets as they enter MARS Stadium at 11:30am.

Possible key matchups
Riley Polkinghorne vs Zen Christofi
Polkinghorne is an accumulator, he averages around 18 disposals and 5 marks a game. Christofi normally plays up forward, but with so many Jets missing he may take up a new responsibility in the midfield. Christofi will need to be on his toes if he wants to shut down this Rebel.
Nick Caris vs Cody Raak
With ten goals for the season, Caris is the spearhead for the Rebels up forward. Raak has Caris dead even for height which makes him the perfect matchup. With Cassar absent, Raak can seize the opportunity to shine in the backline.
William Kennedy vs Jayden Wright
A few weeks ago Kennedy was absent and Aaron Clarke had to take on the ruck duties. Now the situation is reversed, Clarke is absent and Kennedy will find himself in the forward line. Wright is the tallest defender the Rebels have but Kennedy has him well and truly beaten in this area. The only question is, can Kennedy play as a full forward?
