With only five matches to go before finals, the Jets have little time to cement a top four spot. Even after the shock loss to the Calder Cannons last week, the Jets still sit fourth on the ladder. This week they face the Sandringham Dragons who are positioned third on the ladder. As always there is some good news with the return of Emerson Jeka, Aaron Clarke, Baily Ryan that gives Western a welcome boost. The bad news is Darcy Cassar has injured his meniscus and faces an unknown stint on the bench.

Possible key opposition matchups
Louis Butler vs Josh Honey
Since moving up forward, Honey has found a role more suited to his style of play. Butler is a similar size and has been racking up big disposal numbers for a defender and may meet Honey this week. After a quiet game last week, Honey will look to hit the scoreboard.
William Kennedy vs Jack Bell
Kennedy is one of the few Jets who stood up against Calder. He dominates the hit-outs every week and is currently ranked second in the league for them. Bell is ranked fourth in his team for hit-outs but stands at 200cm tall. Kennedy towers over most of his opposition but this time he may be in for a fight.
Kyle Yorke vs Emerson Jeka
As the leading goalkicker of his club, Yorke is the most dangerous forward for the Dragons. With Darcy Cassar missing, Jekka may be moved back to play the role of tall defender. This is new territory for Jeka, but it was also for Cassar at the beginning of the season and he became one of the Jets best defenders. Only time will tell how Jeka goes.
