It's Wildcard Round this Sunday at Box Hill City Oval when the Western Jets face off against the Greater Western Victoria Rebels. This is a do or die match for both teams as the winner will proceed into the Elimination Finals. Only one change for this week for the Jets, Lachlan Rzanovski comes in for Bilal Chehade.
Last week the Jets got hit early hard and fast by the Northern Knights. Western will no doubt be eager to jump the Rebels early and take advantage. Last time they met GWV, the Jets got out of jail by seven points. This could be another nail bitter as there will be no tomorrow for a least one of these teams unless there's a draw.

Possible key match
Jonah Horo vs Jay Rantall
Horo managed to bounce back to his best after a quiet game the week before as he continues to impress the coaching staff. It's hard to criticise Horo when he does all the fundamentals so well and then brings that x-factor that can create some awesome play. Rantall is a tackling machine and may get the job to shut down Horo. Let's hope Horo can avoid this brute and weave some magic when the time comes.
Josh Honey vs Mitch Martin
Lately Honey has been on song, his work rate is up and is proving to make a real difference in the centre of the ground. He was one of the Jets better players in the loss to the Knights but this week he may have a challenge. Martin is the Rebels leading goalkicker with 18 and he's a ruck rover. A duel with Honey could prove crucial to the game's outcome.
Aaron Clarke vs Mitchell Burgess
Clarke has been down on form in his recent matches. However, it just takes one good game for tall forward to kick into gear. His partner in crime Archie Manton has been delivering the goods in the last couple weeks. When these two titans are playing at there best, they can terrify backlines. If Burgess gets the job on Clarke, the Jets forward will have the height advantage he needs to recover his good form.
